International Center for Photography

As the world's leading museum, school and archive dedicated to presenting, preserving and understanding the role of photography, ICP chose Beekman Marketing to revive a dormant membership acquisition program.

The first mailing was tied to a remarkable exhibition featuring The Mexican Suitcase, a fascinating discovery of a treasure trove of negatives from the Spanish Civil War by the founders of the Magnum photo agency. The negatives had been lost for almost 50 years, before being found unmarked in the estate of a Mexican diplomat and ICP was chosen to identify, restore and present this remarkable collection of photographs.

From that initial project, Beekman went on to produce:
  • Annual Giving Year-end Appeals
  • Special post-card mailing featuring the work of famed photographer Elliott Erwitt
  • A new Upper-Level Membership Appeal
